On Thursday, 2/9/2012, at 2:10am, Ptlm. David Schepis encountered a vehicle in the parking lot of Dunking Donuts on East Main Street in Norton. The operator of the vehicle was slumped over the steering wheel and appeared to be unconscious. Ptlm. Schepis was able to wake the operator, while observing drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
The operator, Christopher Pierce, age 39, of Tipping Place, Norton, was placed under arrest for possession of a class A substance (Heroin). He was also charged with four counts of possession of a class E substance. In his possession were 199 pills identified as Alprazolam, Carisoprodol, Suboxone and Doxepin.
Pierce was arraigned this morning at the Attleboro District Court. Ptlm. Schepis was assisted by Ptlm. Rachel Mailloux and Sgt. Stephen Desfosses.
